Welcome to the most practical, innovative and empowering Stress Awareness Workshop ever to be presented in South Africa!

Learn to positively identify stress in your life, understand the basic physiological and chemical pathways of stress, and how to consciously enhance your stress experience to maximize your performance and harmonize your life. Our life stressors are sometimes well hidden in our daily lives and spiritual belief systems, and have become accepted as what our life is about. By stopping our lives for a moment and changing the way we perceive things, our whole world view shifts, we can never go back to the same way of responding to the world so we have to change. The Stress Awareness Workshop is designed to teach individuals to cope more effectively with the stress in their work environment as well as in their personal lives. It is based on simple proactive principles to empower the individual to consciously decide to be pro-active and solution orientated as well as understand how their thought process adds or reduces stress in their lives.

The primary objective is to teach individuals how to understand their personal stressors, and maintain optimal stress levels in order that performance and efficiency can be sustained for longer periods of time. This is done by teaching the individuals to be more relaxed, alert and focused which will help to increased productivity.

Step 1:   PERCEPTION creates an understanding of the uniqueness of stress and what it means to the individual.

Step 2:   AWARENESS helping the delegate to be aware of the dynamics of life and how their individual reactions to them will determine the level of stress that they experience.

This Workshop simplifies the basics of stress so that the individual can understand the root causes of stress, and be able to implement an immediate stress management strategy to optimize their performance.

 Highlights include:

This program creates personal understanding, coping strategies and personal empowerment practices that will help you to prioritize life situations so that you can maximize your performance and job satisfaction.

  3. Learn three or four simple coping techniques and a longer post-traumatic stress processing system.

About Craig Cox

Craig Cox, the founder of WOAD International is currently based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Craig was instrumental is writing the SAQUA (US ID 15096) two day stress management course. He found the course to be overly complicated and long, so combined the best aspects of the course with his extensive learning and life experience to create this half day immediate intervention stress management program. Through his varied life experience he has identified a need for a simple, detailed course that empowers people to understand their stress and to be able to deal with it efficiently. In 1990 he started an export business trading into in Africa, a uniquely stressful environment. Whilst traveling and working in Africa he underwent a four-year apprenticeship to become a qualified Traditional African Herbalist (Inyanga).

He has extensively studied the major world religions as well as various fields of personal spiritual enlightenment. His classical education encompasses the fields of Philosophy, Psychology, Music, Literature, Hypnotherapy, Part Therapy, IT, Archaeology, Geology and Spiritual Counselling. Experiences gained over the last 18 years have resulted in the composition of this material.
