Integral Coaching

About Course

The main job of a coach is always to show and speak about what can happen -to enquire and speak so that people are freed to take action.

In the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson – “Our chief want in life is someone who will make us do what we can”. The primary commitment that a coach makes is to be that someone for another person. Someone who will evoke the excellence from the coach.

When we coach our focus and desired outcomes include the following:

  • Long term excellence in one or many aspects of the individual’s life.
  • Ability to be self-correcting – well-coached clients can observe when they are performing well or not, they will make any necessary adjustments independently of the coach. So this refutes the notion that coaches become indispensable but instead coaches work to build the competence of their client.
  • Self-generating – we can always improve and well-coached people know this and will continually find ways on their own to do this. The coaching process aims to highlight this inherent ability we all have.
